Boynes and ACA President Christine Suniti Bhat presented a $10,000 check to the Florida Counseling Association, a group that has shown incredible dedication and passion in advocating on behalf of counseling both in Florida and nationally. The members of FCA have not only been active in their local community, but they’ve also played a pivotal role in planning this year’s annual conference and helping us make and keep advocacy a focus. #Counseling2025

What a moment. Hard to know what to say other than a large thank you to those who have been on this path with me and took the time to teach me, brainstorm ideas, show me new methods, or just sit and talk or offer a hug when I felt overwhelmed. My first two years of academia have been a wild ride and I am honored by the opportunity to study what I do among people who care about it just as much as I do.
