Training Announcements! Fred Finch is pleased to provide trainings in conjunction with Chabot-Las Positas Community College District and Alameda County through Title IV-E Funding. On January 20, 2025, we will honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a visionary leader whose dedication to justice and equality continues to inspire us all. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of his message of love, nonviolence, and service to others. In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, The Alameda County Social Services Agency will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, The offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Apprentice Career Fair! Wednesday, November 20, 2024 · 3 - 6pm PST TRI-VALLEY CAREER CENTER, in the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District PLEASANTON Offices 5860 Owens Drive 3rd Floor Pleasanton, CA 94588 Looking for a new job and/or a career change? Apprenticeships include something for everyone! At the heart of all apprenticeships is the combination of paid on-the-job training and classroom instruction, which can be referred to as "Earn & Learn." Programs can range from 6 months to 5 years and will help you develop a marketable skill-set and get you to work. Please join us in November for our third Apprenticeship Career Fair and learn more about all of the incredible opportunities to become an Apprentice and enter a new phase of your career. You will be able to talk face-to-face with representatives from a variety of traditional and non-traditional apprenticeship programs at this event. Some examples of the types of programs available include: Optical Machinist Community Health Care Boatworks Construction Trades Manufacturing Education Telecommunications and so many more... Please visit the CLPCCD Apprenticeship Website for more details about programs offered through LPC and Chabot.
