$100,000 in 16 days over 3 years ago and this wasn't just luck. My partner ended up doing this over a dozen more times. Our success was built on thorough research and strategic planning, proving the value of "measure twice, cut once" in e-commerce. While many dropshippers struggle with low win-rates due to poor due diligence, we invested time in acquiring the right information instead of just "fucking around and finding out." The "fuck around and find out" meme perfectly captures the difference between a scattershot approach and a data-driven strategy. We thrived in red-ocean markets because of the abundance of available data—proving it works if you play the game smarter than others. We used a variety of tools to refine our approach. Initially, AdSpy was instrumental. We analyzed competitor ads, monitoring changes in view counts and correlating this with our average conversion rates to estimate their revenues. This allowed us to understand what was working for others and apply those insights to our strategy. In addition to using tools like AdSpy, we continuously consumed high-level content from leading advertising conferences. Instead of relying on YouTube gurus, we sought out industry leaders and reputable events. Conferences like Affiliate World provided us with superior information compared to popular YouTube channels. We found that learning from the best in the field, those who are setting the trends and leading discussions at these events, was invaluable. To find the right mentors and sources of information, we focused on reputable conferences meant for industry leaders. We paid attention to who was speaking, who they followed, and who they engaged with. This approach connected us with cutting-edge strategies and insights that significantly boosted our effectiveness. A key aspect of our later strategy was leveraging tools like ShopHunter, which provided real-time data through a Shopify API exploit. This allowed us to track changes in store cart metrics with a very low margin of error, giving us near-perfect insights into competitor store revenues. Shophunter (This was recently patched, the margin of error now is pretty high) By cross-referencing various data points, we could make informed decisions and optimize our efforts. This didn't guarantee a 100% success rate, but it significantly increased our chances—from a typical 5% to a more promising 20%. This efficiency meant we didn't have to spend 4x the amount of time to achieve the same results. Investing time in thorough research and due diligence allowed us to avoid the pitfalls of guesswork, showing that smart work trumps hard work every time. By focusing on reliable data and learning from industry leaders, we built a robust strategy that led to impressive early success.
Just took one of my ecommerce businesses from $0 to $100k in the span of 16 days with Arthur Hadjinian. Sales is attributed to Facebook/IG Ads & some meme pages.
