Love having a diversified product mix. This week we hit a 100 acre boundary survey, a few thousand feet of curb and gutter layout, staked ~20 houses and ~40 townhomes, as-built a couple new subdivisions stormwater/water/sewer infrastructure and several individual lot surveys. We were on sites spread out from Charleston to Lancaster. That doesn’t even include the office side of things!!! #surveySC

We’re at the end of #ArchivesMonth which people usually associate with the National Archives, South Carolina State Archives etc. but private companies can have them too! As a 40+ year old survey company one of our biggest assets is our own records. Over the years we’ve performed thousands of surveys and research each and every job. This is the benefit of using a company that has stood the test of time as well and a reason we have families that have been customers for 3 generations or more now!!! We pride ourselves on our organization of that data and have learned that it often times can help answer questions years down the road. We’ve been digitizing these records over the years as well as retaining the originals as much as possible. We now have around 40 terabytes of secure data on our server!!! Here’s a pic from 13 years ago of a portion of our files back then. That assistant is now a junior in high school. #surveySC

NASCAR is racing at Darlington this weekend. Very proud to have been a part of the SAFER Barrier team.
