Abra’s unique structure allows our airlines to retain their brands, talent, and culture while benefiting from the greater efficiencies and investments under the Abra umbrella. It provides a platform that allows them to reduce costs, increase scale, continue to operate a fleet of state-of-the-art aircraft, and expand routes, services, product offerings, and loyalty programs. Abra Group is a holding company structure formed by an agreement between the principal shareholders of Avianca and the controlling shareholder of GOL.
