We strengthen communities by ensuring that residents are surrounded with support services to ensure they are healthy productive neighbors. We help some of our most vulnerable neighbors-families and individuals who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or have a disability - so that they are contributing members of our community. We provide quality housing because everyone should have a place to sleep, eat and raise their family.

Our Director of Programs, Cody Spencer, joined WJCT Public Media to discuss our Permanent Supportive Housing Pilot with the City of Jacksonville. Leaders from?Sulzbacher?and the City joined him to discuss the promise of this initiative, which provides stable housing and tailored support for 25 chronically homeless individuals, including move-in and rental assistance, plus access to essential healthcare services. United Way of Northeast Florida is excited to announce the grant recipients of its $4.4 million investment in providing basic needs and improving the financial well-being of families across Northeast Florida. Nearly three dozen programs received funding for an 18-month grant cycle to support meaningful outcomes that will improve economic mobility across our region. “Our goal at United Way is to help families move out of poverty and achieve their full potential,” said Patz. “We are grateful for the donors, corporations and foundations who believe in this work and believe in United Way to get the job done.
