关于我们
Abet Laminati manufactures the broadest range of decorative laminates, including over 350 solid colors, woodgrains, metals, textures and patterns stocked in the U.S. Over 400 additional colors, patterns and finishes are available for custom order. Abet's Stratificato line consists of self-supporting phenolic panel used for wall systems, toilet partitions, shower stalls, furniture and lockers. Our new Polaris line offers a patented finger proof free finish. Abet is also the exclusive manufacturer of MEG exterior rainscreen panels. Interior designers and architects spec our products for applications in office, retail, hospitality, health care, education and residential. Laminates are stocked in our U.S. warehouses and typically ship the next day. During the Seventies, Abet Laminati was the main backer of the New York Museum of Modern Art’s exhibit on Italian design. In the Eighties, Abet gave birth to Alchimia and Memphis, two of the most revolutionary cultural movements coordinated by Architect Ettore Sottsass. This became an important instrument for the promotion of “Made in Italy” all over the globe. And in 1987, Abet’s innovative translucent laminate “Diafos” won the “Compasso d’oro”, the most sought-after Italian award for design. The nineties led to the collaboration, once again, with Ettore Sottsass and his selections for the new Solid Colors series. Abet also won the European Design Award, a prestigious prize that emphasized its successful integration of technology and design. The new millennium committed Abet to the research of high quality, innovative techniques and more refined new products. In 2001, ABET LAMINATI, together with Ferrari, received its second “Compasso d’oro”, this time as a lifetime achievement award. Abet continues to push the limits of engineering and design to deliver the highest quality and most unique decorative laminates available.

As we approach International Women’s Day (March 8, 2025), we would like to honor two women who represent ABET LAMINATI’s past and present. Cesara Garbarino Mazzola joined the Board of Directors of ABET LAMINATI after completing a degree in Economics. Working alongside her father and company Founder, Enrico Garbarino, she helped transform ABET LAMINATI from a small, Italian manufacturer to a global leader in the production of high pressure laminate. She succeeded her father as President of the company in 1986 and in 1987 ABET LAMINATI was awarded its first Compasso d’Oro. Under her tenure and while she was also busy raising three daughters, ABET LAMINATI grew from 500 employees to approximately 1000. In 2008, Mrs. Mazzola was awarded the Cavaliere del Lavoro, an honor given to entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the economic and social development of Italy. Her love for ABET LAMINATI combined with a heightened sense of ethics and concern for safeguarding the environment has led ABET LAMINATI to continually seek greater sustainability in manufacturing. Having served on ABET LAMINATI’s Board of Directors for seven years, Laura Mazzola succeeded her mother, Mrs. Mazzola, as President in 2011. She was instrumental in the creation of the world’s only museum dedicated to the history of Italian design. In 2023, Laura spearheaded the effort to acquire ABET LAMINATI’s first North American manufacturing facility.?In addition to her role as the first female President of Igino Mazzola S.p.A., a 106-year-old family business, Laura continues to work alongside her Father - Bruno Mazzola - in a constant quest for innovation and increased sustainability in the laminate industry. Today, we take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for Mrs. Mazzola, Laura Mazzola and all of the incredible women at ABET LAMINATI. Their strength, resilience, compassion, and leadership inspire us every day. Thank you for all that you do. #InternationalWomensDay #InternationalWomensDay2025 #CelebrateWomen #professionalwomeninconstruction #womensupportingwomen #PWC #rainscreen #facade #facades #facadedesign #facadesystems #curtainwall #cladding #siding #creativity #interiordesigner #interiors #colors #hospitality #hospitalitydesign #healthcaredesign

In 1936, the D’Amour siblings – Paul, Gerald, Anne Marie, Yvette and Gertrude - purchased a market located at a “y” shaped intersection in the Willimansett section of Chicopee, Massachusetts. Known as the Y Cash Market this store grew into what is now the largest independently owned supermarket chain in New England with over seventy locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. One of their newest locations is located in Westport, Connecticut and features a MEG QSP fa?ade. The Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) was established to protect, promote and enhance natural, cultural and recreational resources throughout the State of Massachusetts. They manage state parks and oversee over 450,000 acres in an effort to improve the connection between people and the environment. Building 45 located at the Hingham Shipyard and owned by DCR, is a 23,000 square foot facility that was used to produce military vessels during World War II. Then known as the Bethlehem-Hingham Shipyard, the structure was integral to the production of destroyer escorts and landing ship tanks. Today, Building 45 is used to support a variety of functions, including DCR's Islands District Headquarters, DCR's Boston Harbor Islands Operations and DCR's Boat Maintenance Operations. There is also an MEP Field Office, MEP Boat Maintenance Operations and space allocated to the Friends of Boston Harbor Islands. In 2023, Building 45 was modernized under the careful direction of architects, Johnson Roberts Associates Inc. and general contractor, Tower Construction Corp. New windows were installed and enlarged overhead doors were added. The renovated building also includes a 6300 sf facade featuring MEG by ABET LAMINATI. The rainscreen system was installed using our Exposed Fastened (EF) System in 832 Sei. Photography: Al Vega #rainscreen #facade #facades #facadedesign #facadesystems?#cladding #creativity
