?? A Transformational Project for Memphis – Regional One Health ?? Yesterday was an incredible day for our community, as we gathered with national and local engineers, architects, and general contractors to discuss the Regional One Health project. This iconic healthcare initiative has the potential to elevate Memphis, much like Vanderbilt Hospital did for Nashville, positioning our city as a leader in world-class healthcare services. Being in the same room with top national firms was truly inspirational—a reminder that one day, ABES Engineering and ABES Contracting will also operate at a national and international level. We hope to be part of this monumental project, contributing to the infrastructure that will serve our community for generations to come. A huge thank you to Allworld Project Management and Covalus for organizing this incredible meet and greet event, fostering collaboration between national and local firms. As Dr. Reginald Coopwood shared, this project is not just about a building—it’s about economic impact, local business growth, and ensuring Memphis-based firms have a seat at the table. This is more than just a hospital—it’s a catalyst for progress. Let’s build something great together! #RegionalOneHealth #MemphisGrowth #HealthcareInnovation #Infrastructure #EngineeringExcellence #ABESContracting #BuildingForTheFuture #Collaboration

Did you know that civil engineers created the slippery part of the water slide? That's right, civil engineers designed the pumping system to circulate the correct amount of water to the flume. They also designed the slide to withstand the weight of people, the water and the force of the wind that might blow on it. There you have it, today's #FridayFunFact. #Funfacts #civilengineering #waterslides

Research shows that multilingual people often have better memories, a talent for problem-solving and greater concentration. At ABES, we know these benefits firsthand because our team members just happen to speak a myriad of languages. In fact, our team of 18 professionals collectively speaks 13 languages - English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, Italian, Mashi, Lingala, Latin and Somali. Team member Pacifique Nizeyimana speaks five languages and our CEO, Emmanuel Tuombe, P.E., speaks six. We're proud of the world perspective our team brings to their work and their ability to communicate in so many languages. It makes us a stronger engineering firm. How many languages can you speak? Share your linguistic journey with us.
