There are two main types of #lungcancer: small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). These are among the most aggressive forms of pulmonary tumors. Even with treatment, the five-year survival rate remains low at around 5 - 10% for SCLC. The outlook for these #cancers is generally poor, highlighting the critical need for new treatment options. As the leading cause of cancer deaths globally, lung cancer impacts countless lives. Together, we share the responsibility of working toward a future where #lungcancer no longer claims so many lives.
