An inspection of a Tom's of Maine manufacturing facility found that the brand's toothpaste was produced with water containing bacteria, and a "black mold-like substance" was discovered at the location, according to the FDA. Campbell's is ditching the soup — at least in name. Campbell Soup Co. announced its intention to change its name, saying it wanted to instead be known as the (slightly shorter) Campbell's Co. Shareholders overwhelmingly approved the change on Tuesday. New Jersey-based Campbell's hasn’t been exclusive to the soup business for some time.
