Expanding Robotic Welding: 3 Cells in Operation, 4th to follow! We’re excited to share our long-term partnership with a leading steel bridge structures manufacturer in Europe, a collaboration that continues to grow! The facility has a production capacity of up to 55,000 tons of steel structures per year, manufacturing 5,000 tons per month, with 1,500 tons (20%) welded using robotic complex powered by ABAGY software. Robotic Welding Cells in Action: ? Cell 1 – Handles small parts with high variability. Multiple components are welded simultaneously on a 14m x 2.5m work zone with 1 robot ? Cell 2 – Two robots operate in an 18m work zone, dedicated to welding large bridge decks. ? Cell 3 – A gantry system with a ceiling-mounted robot, covering an impressive 25 m work zone. Coming Next? The 4th robotic cell is under discussion! Designed for even larger support structures, it will feature a 15m x 4m x 3m work zone to meet increasing production demands. Impact of Robotic Welding: ?? 60% arc time per shift – Optimized processes have drastically increased arc-on time, compared to just 15% with manual welding. ?? 1 welding robot replaces 9 welders, operating 24/7 without breaks, helping to scale production while significantly lowering labor costs.
