We work hard, but we have a ton of fun along the way! Abacus places a lot of focus on building connections across our teams. Outside of the office we are able to do this by hosting your 'not so typical' team-building events pushing our employees outside of their comfort zone - think Battle of the Bands, cooking classes, axe throwing, and more!
Every Bead Matters
We call our employees ‘beads,’ playing on the Abacus theme. Our name, Abacus, implies something that most people don’t think about as they enter our doors. We help our clients count, so we named the company Abacus because it is arguably the oldest counting machine. The name ‘bead’ for each employee signifies our team-based culture. All of our ‘beads’ — employees — are the same size and count equally within our organization.
