WEBINAR ANNOUNCEMENT "Flow Imaging Microscopy for Monitoring Particles in Gene Therapies" October 1st, 12:30 - 1:30 PM Speaker: Austin Daniels, PhD Our upcoming webinar hosted by American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) | @aapscomms will introduce Flow Imaging Microscopy (FIM) and discuss how it can be used to monitor subvisible particles in gene therapy drug products. We will also present a case study in which FIM was used to analyze AAV formulations during an accelerated stability study. These measurements were used to investigate the impact of formulation ionic strength and different accelerated stability stresses on AAV aggregation. Two Kope?ek/Yang PhD students received Best Poster Awards for the upcoming American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) | @aapscomms PharmSci360. The awards honor the lab’s groundbreaking research in drug delivery systems, highlighting their contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences. The awards went to Shannuo Li for “Novel Personalized Treatment for Multiple Myeloma: Multi-Antigen T Cell Hybridizers for T Cell Activation” and Jiahui Li for "Development of a New Modality with Strong Cancer Immunotherapeutic Effect (CITE) for Multiple Myeloma Treatment.” They are two of the three honorees recognized at PharmSci 360. Shannuo and Jiahui were also selected for Rapid Fire Presentations. Their posters will be honored at PharmSci 360, which take place October 20-23, 2024, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
