A month ago, I presented my research on "Development and Characterization of Cannabidiol and Rho Kinase Inhibitor Combination Formulations for Ophthalmic Use" at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) | @aapscomms #PharmSci360 in Salt Lake City! The conference was a great opportunity to connect with brilliant minds in the pharmaceutical fraternity. I'm excited to announce an upcoming webinar organized by the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) | @aapscomms Oral Biopharmaceutics and Absorption Modeling (#OBAM) Community, 'New Methods for Absorption Profiling of Advanced Drug Delivery Systems' presented by Dr. Christel Bergstr?m, Professor in Molecular Pharmaceutics at Uppsala University, Sweden. The webinar will be held on December 5, 2024 at 12:30 pm Eastern Time. Registration link below. This presentation will focus on new computational and experimental methods to predict and understand intestinal drug absorption from advanced drug delivery systems designed to enable poorly soluble and poorly permeable drugs. Methods covered include molecular dynamics simulations, computational fluid dynamics, and in vitro dissolution/digestion/permeation tools that mimic gastrointestinal processing and absorption in one assay.
