As someone deeply invested in longevity and precision medicine, I see cancer prevention as more than just reducing risk—it’s about extending healthspan, not just lifespan. Cancer is not an overnight occurrence; it is the result of years of cellular changes, lifestyle choices, and environmental exposures. But just as cancer develops over time, so can resilience. We can rewrite our health trajectory, one choice at a time. Here’s how: ?? Live with movement. A sedentary life invites disease. Daily exercise, even a simple walk, can cut cancer risk significantly. ?? Eat like your future depends on it. Because it does. A diet rich in greens, antioxidants, and whole foods nourishes cells and reduces inflammation—the root of many cancers. ?? Respect your body’s limits. Smoking, excessive alcohol, and processed foods may seem insignificant today, but they shape your health tomorrow. Choose wisely. ?? Invest in early detection. "Sustainable drug development isn’t an option—it’s the only way forward." Honored to be a part of the closing #keynote panel of the OCT West Conference in San Francisco, CA. A week ago, I sat with some of the brightest minds in drug development from leading companies such as Eli Lilly and Company, Abcuro, Inc., Agility Pharmaceuticals, RAPT Therapeutics, and AstraZeneca. The conversation was electric—how do we lay the framework for sustainable drug development, accelerate clinical trials, and ensure life-saving therapies reach patients faster?
