JUST IN: A new AP-NORC/AAPI Data survey released earlier today highlights Asian American and Pacific Islander (#AAPI) adults' perspectives on key issues on government bureaucracy and efficiency (#DOGE). Today's survey insights reveal that while AAPI adults align with the general U.S. population that issues such as corruption, inefficiency and red tape are major problems faced by the federal government—they largely do not support #DOGE initiatives aimed at trying to tackle these issues via drastic cuts and downsizing. Rather, AAPI adults would like to see the U.S. government step up its spending and prioritization on key policy issues including education, healthcare, food, and housing. Interested in learning more?
