报纸出版业
AAN Publishers intensely focus on local news, culture and the arts and speak truth to power in their communities.
关于我们
AAN Publishers is a diverse group of over 130 local news organizations covering every major metropolitan area and other less-populated regions of North America. AAN was founded in Seattle, Wash., in 1978. It began with 30 newspapers, including San Francisco Bay Guardian, Creative Loafing, Phoenix New Times, Willamette Week and The Chicago Reader. AAN has a wide range of publications. What ties them together is a strong focus on local news, culture and the arts, an emphasis on point-of-view reporting and narrative journalism, tolerance for individual freedoms and social differences, and an eagerness to report on issues and communities that many mainstream media outlets ignore.

Announcing the AAN Publishers Revenue Recovery Fund... Can you help us help our members in Western North Carolina? https://lnkd.in/gMPYN_HE Mountain XPress and Smoky Mountain News are two publications in Western North Carolina whose advertising revenues have been decimated by the closure of local businesses and organizations due to widespread water and electrical outages. With state and federal relief efforts ongoing, we ask that everyone donate to the fund and promote it as widely as possible to help these publications continue serving their communities and supporting their staff members and families during this crisis. Thanks!
