Last Thursday, we had ten volunteers join us at Junior Achievement Finance Park to work with 130 middle school students in a simulation designed to help them understand budgeting and other financial realities (such as understanding the difference between buying a home and renting an apartment). As major sponsors of Junior Achievement, it's our goal to reach the new generation of students to educate them in apartment living and plant a seed that there are great jobs available to them after high school or college. Thank you to our volunteers for spending the day with us!
