?? Thank you for attending Demo Day 2025! ?? Last week, our flagship event took place and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Demo Day is dedicated to groundbreaking innovations, stimulating discussions, and compelling presentations, and last Thursday we witnessed all of these and much more! Here are some numbers from this edition: ?? Over 650 attendees. ?? 85 startups and research projects with a booth. ?? +70 participants at the Kiuas matchmaking event. ?? +20 applications for the Nordic Science Investments x ArcticStartup pitching competition. The stars of the event were the startups and the research to business projects with a stand, ready to present their ideas and connect with relevant people in the ecosystem. However, we also want to acknowledge everyone who took part in the stage program. If you came, you should have received a feedback form. A recent study by Aalto Startup Center shows that long-term growth is also possible for startups: alumni companies thrive consistently even in challenging economic conditions. Although the fast growth and short-term success of high-growth companies often attract the greatest attention, research indicates that many start-ups grow steadily year after year. A study by Aalto Startup Center research examined companies that emerged from the business accelerator in 1997–2023.
