We’re excited to announce that Aalo Atomics has been selected as one of four partners to develop up to 1 GW of nuclear energy generation capacity at the Texas A&M RELLIS Campus. This groundbreaking initiative will provide clean, reliable power to support RELLIS’ existing and upcoming data centers, including those driving AI and high-performance computing. This collaboration represents a pivotal step for the future of advanced nuclear energy and an important milestone for Aalo. We are exploring the potential to deploy several Aalo-Pods, each containing 5 x Aalo-1 reactors and 1 turbine, delivering a 50 MW output per pod. In August 2019, I walked into my first class at RELLIS, marking the start of a five-year journey as a Texas A&M student. That journey was defined by challenges, resilience, ingenuity, and an unwavering pursuit of knowledge. Every time I return to College Station, the RELLIS campus sign remains deeply personal. Without the Engineering Academy program, I would not have become a Texas A&M student, a nuclear engineer, or met the lifelong friends who support and inspire me. ? The road wasn’t easy, but within the nuclear engineering program, I found my passion. Long nights of research weren’t just academic—they were opportunities to contribute to something bigger. No grade or challenge outweighed the privilege of working on projects that could change the world. That work gave me purpose. ? This is why this announcement means so much to me. ? What we are building at Aalo is truly special—not just in a PR sense, but in a fundamental way. Over the past four months, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, ingenuity, and passion that define this team. Their ability to adapt, evolve, and push our mission forward is what convinced me that our vision is worth striving for. ? With current #nuclear power, it can take a decade to build a GW-scaled plant. Since we formed Aalo Atomics, we have been obsessed with the challenge of building at least a Gigawatt-level nuclear every year. ?? ???? Our approach is to mass-manufacture nuclear systems in the factory, not just the reactor, but the majority of the plant. This leaves very little to do on-site. So, not only were we designing the optimal reactor design for mass production, but also the factory that builds it. ?? We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our first factory in Austin, Texas, with an exclusive event this April . Here's our Three-Phase Plan: ? Phase I: Minimum Viable Factory (Q1 2025): Demonstrate we can build an Aalo-1 reactor in the factory. ? Phase II: Implement NQA-1 (Q4 2025): Implement complete nuclear quality assurance standards and get them validated by DOE and NRC audits. ? Phase III: Maximize Throughput (Q4 2026): Transform our pilot factory into a high-output production line for mass-manufacturing Aalo-1 reactors.
