Name: Sara Tvedt Marketing title and agency: Associate Account Executive, Lawrence & Schiller Board title: American Advertising Awards Co-Chair About me: I grew up in Brookings, SD and went to college at NSU in Aberdeen, SD where I studied marketing and played bball – go wolves baby! I moved to Sioux Falls about three years ago and have so enjoyed living here. Trying new coffee shops & breweries, going to concerts, spending time with family & friends and traveling to new places, especially places in warm climates with a body of water nearby ideally, are all my jam. ?? Other volunteer projects: I’m going on my second school year as a mentor to an awesome fourth grader through TeamMates Mentoring of Sioux Falls. This also marks my fourth year campaigning for the Sioux Empire United Way. These adventures fill my cup! Fun facts: oh boy let’s see… I went on stage at a Beach Boys concert (shoutout Sioux Empire Fair circa 2016), I’m a FaUNtie (fun auntie) to the sweetest lil’ niece and I think puns are electric. ?

Name: Reid Johnson Marketing Title: Reliabank – Chief Culture Officer & Marketing Director Board title: Vice President & Community Relations Co-Chair About me: My wife, Jessi, and I are a blended family with seven children. ???????? The youngest is one, the oldest is 20 and we currently have four in high school. We spend a lot of time chasing them around and when we’re not, we like to travel. ?? I am a big Oregon Ducks fan but am proud to be a USF Cougar! I have worked at Reliabank since 2011 and the best part is finding fun ways to give back to our communities through hands-on efforts. Other volunteer projects: Board member with Volunteers of America, Dakotas. Scholarship evaluator for Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. Coach for youth sports. Volunteer with fellow Reliabank coworkers at various non profits. Fun facts: I coach track at Sioux Falls Christian and have the gift of three of our kids participating on the team. ??

Meet the Board! Name: Michelle O'Connor Marketing title/Board Title: AAF-SD Executive Director About me: My husband Ryan, and our two kids love to go on adventures. Whether it's a day trip or somewhere totally new, we just love exploring the world together. We also like to play pickleball, and soccer. Prior to starting as executive director this spring, I worked as a marketing director, media strategist, and media buyer/planner. Other volunteer projects: I'm on the local board of administration for our church, and previously spent 15 years on the board for Pi Beta Phi at the University of South Dakota. I've been a LSS mentor for 9 years and also mentored a "little brother" in Big Brothers Big Sisters for 10. Fun facts: My husband and I have a cool anniversary date - 11-11-11! ?? I used to be a weekend DJ for a rock radio station. ?? Now my husband and I are co-hosts of a marriage podcast, and are just recording episode 52, one full year (find on YouTube or any podcast app). ?? I've worked in almost every medium: newspaper, radio station, television station, and full service agency. I like to snowboard and did regional and state competitions growing up. Ryan had to learn to go on snowboarding dates with me. ?? We love to travel and have been to 5 countries as a family in the last 2 years. ?? I'm a leftie and have all those creative juices as a result. ????

Name: Laura Arnett Marketing title and agency: Business Development Director at Flynn Wright Board title: Director (1st year), Co-Chair of Education Committee About me: I have been married to my husband, Matt, for 16 years and we have the BEST 9 year old son, Jackson. I attended USD (Go Yotes!) for marketing and my MBA, but I didn’t use any of that knowledge until I took a career “left turn” 5 years ago from property management into advertising. My unique background and career experience gives me a very different perspective into the industry, but I feel like I have found my true purpose in life. Other volunteer projects: I serve as a volunteer board member with Employment Disability Resources, The National Kidney Foundation, and the local Sioux Council of Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America). I am also an avid supporter of the Sioux Empire United Way and Lost&Found. Fun facts: I was homeschooled until middle school. ?? I have been to Disney World and Disneyland over 25 times. ??
