关于我们
We are marketers, creatives, media specialists, producers, strategists and vendor partners who share a passion about advertising and the important role it plays in the continued growth of Pittsburgh. We also believe advertising makes a terrible spectator sport. So get involved. Here you’ll find educational and employment opportunities, as well as a chance to develop professional and social networks. Come join in and be part of a truly dynamic, energetic organization. If you produce, create, place, approve, plan, teach or study advertising, there’s a place for you in the American Advertising Advertising Federation Pittsburgh. Our membership spans all disciplines and cuts across traditional as well as emerging mediums. The American Advertising Federation Pittsburgh encourages professional excellence and integrity and works to develop the next generation of advertising professionals. To that goal, we stage a broad and dynamic schedule of networking and educational opportunities. Some events and seminars cater to the interests of specific disciplines, while others offer a broader appeal for all members. The American Advertising Federation Pittsburgh is a long-standing member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), a national organization of 50,000 professionals in 220 professional advertising clubs, 220 college chapters, and 110 corporations. Since its founding in 1923, the American Advertising Federation Pittsburgh has developed into an extraordinarily diverse and active club with active representation from virtually every major local agency, advertiser, media, and production entity in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Meet our newest AAF Pittsburgh Board member, the fabulous, Senior Media Manager at Gatesman.? ?? How long have you served on the board? I am a newly-appointed Chair, however I have volunteered with the lovely AAF Pittsburgh team through events such as thePitch, and the kick-off “JUICE with a Twist” event in Spring 2024 at Coop de Ville. ?? What is your favorite AAF Pittsburgh event? Why? The American Advertising Awards hold a special place in my heart because it was my first introduction to the AAF world. It’s like a family reunion, if your family was full of kind, talented people who all secretly wanted to outshine each other :).?But seriously, it's this perfect blend of spirited competition and genuine camaraderie. One minute, you’re clapping for a competitor’s win, the next, you’re side-eyeing your team like, “We’re bringing the heat next year.” The energy is unmatched! ?? What is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh you think more people should know about??Nancy B’s in Homestead. These cookies will change your life. ?? What is your favorite Pittsburgh social media account to follow??If you’re comfortable with a little chaos, it’s a tie between pghscanner and pittsburghgraffiti. Welcome Kelly!??

Can you describe the project or campaign you are most proud to have worked on? Pittsburgh Opera’s “The Summer King” based on Negro League great Josh Gibson. Went all the way to a National Silver ADDY with Golds locally and regionally. ?? Breakfast, brunch or dinner - where is the best spot and why? Carmella’s. Menu is always amazing no matter the meal and the ambiance is akin to a ski lodge ?? What is the best part of your job? Mentoring and creative strategy.

AAF Pittsburgh & Ad 2 Pittsburgh转发了
It was a night of great discussion and insight during the AAF Pittsburgh & Ad 2 Pittsburgh Outlook 2025 event on Mental Health in our creative community. Thank you, Workscape , for hosting! The event, moderated by Emily Moquin of Schmidt Market Research, went over results of a survey we sent out, taking a pulse of how everyone is doing. As one would expect, there was a mix. -Younger pros are feeling more pressure than older -Close to everyone felt some sort of anxiety during the year (2024) - While there's work to be done by leaders and organizations, there are glimmers of hope. This matters because you matter. AAF Pittsburgh is taking the intentional steps to make sure we talk about this stuff. Stay tuned for news about PGHAdWeek 2025 and Round 2 of this mental health convo.
