I am honored to be selected as part of the American Advertising Federation’s 2025 Most Promising Students (MPS / MPMS) Class! MPS is a prestigious program that connects 50 of the Top Students across the country with industry leaders, providing professional development and networking opportunities to help shape the next generation of advertising professionals! This award has been so rewarding, and is a culmination of everything that I've learned. Thank you to Erica L. Blake, Andrea Figueroa-Guerrero, Candace D. Queen, and everyone involved in making this program happen. There'll be more posts to come about this experience, and more people to thank! One of the most pivotal experiences in my advertising journey was my Media Planning Strategy Internship last Summer (I should have posted this sooner but better late than never!). I worked at Spark Foundry / Publicis Media, where I worked with Carina Vo-Ta, an intern at Mattel, Inc. I had the incredible experience to really learn the role of Media Planning in an agency, as well as having that client-agency relationship. A huge thank you to Bret Dlouhy, Emma Raleigh, and all the incredible people that I worked with and met during that internship! Another thank you to Anna Crowe for connecting me to this role! Looking back, my journey into advertising has been filled with opportunities that have shaped me into who I am today. What started as an interest in creative storytelling and strategy quickly turned into a passion for media and marketing. From my time at Agency 241, where I worked as a Creative Director, to my role with the City of Long Beach, where I helped promote small businesses and led communications efforts for local initiatives, each experience has helped build my skills and perspective. Another pivotal moment was with The American Marketing Association (AMA) Long Beach at California State University-Long Beach - College of Business, where David Pe?a from RPA was a guest speaker! David was the first guest speaker I ever heard from where I learned about the world of advertising, so a huge thank you to him! Through him, I also learned about the AAF Los Angeles and Chris Degenaars! I became involved in AAF LA as a volunteer, and that experience had connected me to the wider scope of what AAF and the advertising world itself has to offer. I even got to re-connect with Brent K. Marshall from my Spark internship through this volunteering as well! The LAGRANT Foundation was also extremely helpful for my professional development and learning more about the ad industry, and there were some familiar faces at MPS! Being named an MPS honoree is a full-circle moment for me, and I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and connecting with the best in the industry. Huge thanks to AAF for this recognition, and to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Looking forward to what’s next, and I have a couple more posts coming up sharing my experiences during this incredible program in New York!

Thanks so much to AAF Los Angeles, ThinkLA, and Social Media Club Los Angeles for organizing a fantastic community drive at Firestone Walker Brewing Company to support people and communities affected by the LA wildfires. Our Infillion team (both human and canine) was honored to be part of it. As a company born in LA, the city is close to our hearts and it's been uplifting to see the local advertising community rally in support. Thank you to Nikki Koppers from our Creative Strategy team for organizing our company contingent. To learn more about this initiative, check out the AAF's resource page here: https://lnkd.in/gxGVqikC
