AAF TXST is a student-run organization at Texas State University, San Marcos for students interested in careers in advertising and advertising-related industries. AAF TXST is Texas State’s official collegiate chapter of the American Advertising Federation and serves to connect students with the AAF, Austin Ad Fed, and Ad2Austin. AAF TXST’s purpose is to help students network with advertising professionals in Austin and San Antonio as well as nationwide, and be a part of a community of future advertising professionals within Texas State. Our goal is to help students hone their networking and professional skills to be applied towards their prospective careers in advertising, including creative, business and account services, research, marketing, media planning, public relations, and multi-media production.
