Filipino-American nurses faced an inordinate amount of burden during COVID.?Filipino nurses make up 4% of the nursing population in the United States. Yet?a staggering 31% of nurses who died from COVID were of Filipino descent.?They also faced anti-Asian hate at work and outside of the hospital.
