Often times, bank mergers can bring uncertainity and a shrinkage of support to local communities. This was not the case when US Bank acquired Union Bank. U.S. Bank and US Bancorp Impact Finance have become an even stronger partner to CDFIs, the small business community, and regions like central California. What started as an introduction and grant through African-American Alliance of CDFI CEOs, has blossomed to US Bank become one our biggest investors in our revolving loan fund along with general operating support grants which are critical for our work. Thank You US Bank for investing in our organization, our region, and our community! Terrance Green Jimmie Howlett Phillip Sangokoya Ashley Abenoja-Bocek Rockette Richardson Ewell
On Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the U.S. Bank team, including Ashley Abenoja-Bocek, Tina Garza, and Dean Trejo, to our APC headquarters to celebrate a major milestone! Thanks to their generous support, we were awarded a $300,000 multiyear operational support contribution, which is a huge boost for our work and mission. But that wasn’t all – we also celebrated securing $1 million in new lending capital from U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance. Together, these contributions bring an incredible $1.3 million in fresh support to our organization, fueling our efforts to empower and uplift the communities we serve. This partnership with U.S. Bank is helping us expand our impact, and we’re excited about the positive changes this support will bring to our programs and services.
