Introducing Kevin, who has also volunteered his time in helping with the A4LE Virginia Chapter account. Kevin’s Kevin Fadely is the Director of Learning Environments for Lakeshore Learning. Prior to joining Lakeshore, Kevin served in the US AirForce. After his service he joined and architectural firm in Washington DC as Director of Business Development. He then worked in various sales and sales leadership rolls at Allsteel/HNI for over 22 years. Kevin has always had a passion for coaching and served as a JV Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach for boys soccer for a number of years and enjoyed watching his daughter play Div 1 soccer at Longwood University. In his free time he enjoys helping his 2 grown Children (Austin and Layne) grow their sales careers. When not with them you will find him in the mountains hiking with his dog Whiskey or on the Couch with his bulldog Zeus after a ride on his road bike climbing mountains. He serves on multiple boards to include “A Nite to Shine” through the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Meet Dian, she has so kindly volunteered her time in helping me with the A4LE Virginia chapter LinkedIn account. Ms. Dian Paulin, M.Ed., ALEP, NCIDQ, WELL AP Dian Paulin currently serves as Past President for the Virginia Chapter of A4LE, and has had the opportunity to serve in various Chapter roles, as well as on A4LE National Committees. She received her ALEP, Accredited Learning Environment Planner, designation in 2014; and additionally, was a member of the 3rd Cohort (August 2016-May 2017) of the A4LE Advanced Academy for Designing Learning Spaces. Dian was honored to be awarded the "Virginia Planner of the Year" for 2017, by the VA A4LE Chapter. As a Senior Designer and Business Development professional with Diversified Educational Systems - DES*, Dian has over 30 years of experience planning and designing educational environments. Additionally, she has more recently earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology – Applied Developmental Science, from the UVA School of Education and Human Development. *DES provides turnkey program design and facility solutions for K-12 Educational and Post-Secondary markets. I am thrilled to announce I’ve been handed the keys to the A4LE Virginia Chapter’s bus, AKA, the LinkedIn account. I must admit it feels like a risky move on their part to trust a guy who prides himself on his movie quotes, one liners and dad jokes. I promise to keep these to a minimum and deliver compelling and relevant content about this wonderful association and everyone that’s involved with it. When I first heard about A4LE, I thought it was a support group of parents trying to survive their kids homework. Little did I know it’s all about creating the right environments that give our little geniuses the best opportunities to succeed. As a father of a 9 year old girl, this association has captured a special place in my heart and I’m honored to be a part of the VA Chapter.
