Changing the few who change the many! A3 nurtures intentional learning communities to build & sustain Christ's leaders.

关于我们

A3 is the global leader development network that changes the few who change the many. A3 nurtures intentional learning communities to build and sustain Christ's leaders around the world. A3 NETWORKS We foster intentional networks with several high-impact leaders to face their challenges... together. A3 LEADERS A3 leaders are carrying the opportunity to reach many people in their local communities with the transforming message of Jesus Christ. They are strategically positioned and poised to grow alongside other leaders with shared purpose. A3 PROCESS Our process is centered around the belief that a Spirit-led community can change the culture of an entire nation—virtually anything—toward Christ's purposes. We give leaders a structure to connect and sustain each other, accelerate their own ministries, and expand the love of Jesus throughout their communities. A3 SESSIONS The A3 Leader Development Model brings together 12-18 leaders who meet quarterly over a 2-year period. Intensive, in-service, in-country, in-community, and ongoing. A3 COMMUNITY The relationships that develop in the context of this experience provide a network for ongoing collaboration, friendship and development long after the cohort graduates. 4 OUTCOMES What do we want to see as the result of our work in the life and ministry of each leader? 1. Living in a love relationship with God. 2. Growing as a Christ-like leader. 3. Reproducing disciple-making leaders. 4. Catalyzing Christ-centered movements. OUR VISION "A vibrant community accelerating Christ-centered movements around the world." OUR MISSION "We equip and unify visionary Christ-centered leaders to influence Spirit-led change." (A3) Happy Thanksgiving 2024 from Joe & Silk: WITH DEEP GRATITUDE FOR ALL WHO PRAY FOR A3 AND SUPPORT OUR WORK Hello Everyone! On this Thanksgiving, we pause to reflect on all we have to be grateful for. In the words of Psalm 107:1... Happy Thanksgiving from everyone in the A3 Community. "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever." Gratitude reminds us of God's goodness and faithfulness. In every season, through trials, triumphs, and everyday moments, it shifts our focus from what we lack... to the abundant blessings around us—family, friends, health, and hope. This Thanksgiving let's open our hearts to gratitude, recognizing that "every good and perfect gift comes from above," James 1:17. From all of us at A3, may your Thanksgiving be filled with love, joy, and peace of knowing we are deeply loved by the One who provides all we need. Happy Thanksgiving! If the video player below doesn't work, click the photo above or?watch video on YouTube. (A3) After years of silence, an encouraging discovery!: Secret Breakthrough . . . a ministry flourishing You may recall that many years ago our staff and leadership trainees in “Xland*,” one of the world’s largest countries, went on hiatus due to the government cracking down on our alumni and activities. I just learned last week that it is actually no longer inactive as we had been assuming for several years. This is great news, but it has also put A3 in a bit of a bind financially. Read on to find out how this work has not been dormant after all and how your gift by December 31 will count toward a major challenge grant to fund their leadership development. It all started when Xlander pastors were detained from flying to South Africa for Lausanne’s Cape Town 2010 Congress. Many were interrogated and jailed. None were allowed to attend the congress. Also, two of our A3 staff families were deported with visas revoked. Hibernation and Radio Silence for Safety The A3 activity went into hibernation. At their request, we were in almost a radio-silent status with the key leaders in order to let things cool down. We didn’t want to jeopardize anyone’s safety. So that’s been the holding pattern for many years. I was under the impression that our work had been mostly dormant there for the last few years. Our former director, Nicholas*, had gone completely silent for four years! No one could reach him and many thought the worst had happened. But recently, Nicholas contacted me. He happened to be in the U.S.! I learned he is doing surprisingly well. His family is in a good place, perhaps better than ever, and he is trying to discern how God will use him to influence his country over the next decade of his life. Then during my more recent trip to Thailand, I met with Samuel*, an A3/Xland alumnus who now lives in Bangkok and one of the three people Nicholas had appointed to take his place. A Flourishing Ministry Samuel shared with me that A3’s leader development program there is not only running again, but it’s quite healthy. Six active cohorts are taking 90 participants, mostly house church pastors, through leader development. After hearing of the reach, one of my colleagues said, “This is now A3’s largest operation!” Wow! Praise God! You might ask how this huge work is being funded. Since they could not reach out to us, they have been finding innovative ways to resource it. But they can’t sustain this size group for much longer on their own. I’m estimating that they will need at least $300,000 in the coming year. They need your help to provide those funds. A3 Giving Challenge Project for 2024 Because we just learned of this, we had not budgeted anything for the Xland cohorts during our… #A3Leaders #JoeHandley #leaderdevelopment

ICYMI: (MNN) Elections and religious freedom in Mongolia: After parliamentary elections in June, last month local governments in Mongolia had their turn. Mongolia (MNN) — Mongolia held its parliamentary elections in June. Last month, local governments had their turn. The nation of just 3.4 million people is sandwiched between Russia and China. It was a Communist nation for over six decades leading up to the 1990s when it transitioned to a democracy. More than 8,000 local government seats were up for voting in the October elections. The results? The Mongolian People’s Party, an ex-Communist party, keeps its majority. “Out of 21 provinces in Mongolia, they won in 14 provinces, and out of nine districts in the city, they won in eight districts,” Chinzo* with A3 Mongolia says. “We had opposition parties, like [the] Democratic Party, and [the HUN] Party. Even after the parliamentary elections, we had some reforms, some changes, but even after that now the ruling party (the Mongolian People’s Party) has great weight in decision-making and directing the trajectory of our countries.” ? ? ? People in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (Stock photo courtesy of Belgutei via Unsplash) ? ? ? ? Christians make up less than 2 percent of Mongolia’s majority Buddhist population. But Chinzo says they do not face heavy persecution — yet. “It’s all indirect. There is no direct pressure or persecution,” he says. “But the change is in the society — we’re going back into Communist-type of regime again.” He lists media and speech censorship as growing concerns. One form of pressure that Christians experience today is bureaucratic delay. “Many churches wait for many, many years to get official registration (with the government),” Chinzo says. Join in praying with Christians in Mongolia for God to move in their nation. “Pray for religious freedom in terms of especially churches. We need more official recognition and favor from the [state] for the churches to function freely, without fighting persecution,” says Chinzo. Pray also for the Mongolian church, which Chinzo says has a lack of men in leadership. “We want Mongolian men to rise up. They need to come back to Jesus and really be strong.” ? *Name withheld for security ? Listen to the broadcast (story starts at 1:37) Direct Link: https://lnkd.in/gabJQQc5 ?
