Meet Adona Tesfaye: Former Project Lead for Adot Meet Adona Tesfaye, the former project lead of Adot, a maternity companion platform developed to help women during pregnancy.???? ?? Leading Adot, Adona managed a team of 10 and did their best to offer a healthcare app to mothers and aspiring moms. She shares that, while it was sometimes overwhelming to be the person her team looked to for answers, she grew more comfortable in the role over time. Her experience at A2SV | Africa to Silicon Valley helped her build key skills in leadership, communication, and technology and boosted her confidence along the way. ????? The A2SV team joined the African Youth Forum at Africa Celebrates held at UNECA, where royalty, leaders, and changemakers gathered to discuss the future of Africa. ??? A2SV was invited as a panelist for the discussion on Tech Education, where we explored essential ways to bridge the gap between tech education and industry needs, examined the infrastructure and policy changes required to enhance access to quality education, and highlighted the importance of digital literacy and lifelong learning. We also addressed the need to make tech education more inclusive, ensuring better access for women, rural communities, and marginalized groups.
