Aviation Tech Services (AWATS) is delighted to announce a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with ECT Aviation Support to acquire the Inflight Canada (IFC) Reversible Cargo Conversion for installation on Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. AWATS is the prime contractor and system integration specialist for the IFC Reversible Cargo Conversion Program. The Reversible Cargo Conversion is: - Applicable to any B777 aircraft. - Makes use of Class F cargo containers connected to flight deck and cabin alerting system. - Makes use of existing PAX entry doors. - Flexible, Full Freighter and fully reversible back to PAX configuration. - COMBI configuration available after Full Freighter certification. Benefits: - Two weeks down time vs 4 months for traditional P2F, Class E. - A fraction of the cost vs traditional P2F, Class E. - Minor airframe modifications vs traditional P2F, Class E. - No large Cargo Door and floor structural mods vs traditional P2F, Class E. - Makes use of Standard Ramp Cargo Equipment. - ROI measured in months not years. - Estimated Cargo Capacity of 85 metric tons and optimized for E-commerce (Comparable to Boeing 777F Production Freighter Full capability of 103 Metric tons). - 155 minute loading and unloading time for full cargo load.
