5-year-old Dream has a severe case of Rett Syndrome, is nonverbal and can only communicate with her eyes. However, thanks to various types of therapies, she is beginning to stand and take a step or two but still does not have use of her hands. Her Wish, as described by her mother, is for a sensory room built in their home where Dream can have physical therapy, enjoy playtime, and ultimately have some control over her surroundings. With help from an amazing “Dream Team” comprised of volunteer individuals and companies assisting with the design and construction modifications to Dream’s home, a Wish with Wings is creating a very special sensory room. We need your help to provide additional funds to purchase the medical and technical equipment required, most of which are very expensive … and out of range of our Wish budget.
