As lifelong San Diegans, we started A Timeless Day in 2018 to change the way people visit our hometown. We wanted travelers to experience it like a local. We had a 2008 Prius, some beach equipment, and the idea that truly enjoying a Southern Californian day was universally resonant. Since then, between our three different experiences, we’ve hosted thousands of guests from across the globe. We’ve made countless friends and indelible sun-stained memories along the way. Our first beautifully renovated?Volkswagen is ready to hit the road, we've partnered with some of our city's most beloved hotels, and we can’t wait to explore our coastline like never before. Artisanal meals, craft local libations (Coronado Brewing, Kove, Swell Soda), a Polaroid for you to snap souvenir shots all day, chic beach gear, coastal trails, swimming in the Pacific—the freedom to explore, relax, adventure at your pace—all while cruising the California coast in a vintage Volkswagen bus.
