After receiving the green light from her doctor, Erik, our head prosthetist and owner, teamed up with Doctor Forsberg to ensure Darlene embarked on an exciting journey to our facility. In just one week, we swiftly and efficiently crafted her prosthesis. Darlene was involved in the entire process from start to finish, during the fabrication of her lifelike silicone prosthesis. The seamless integration involves a unique internal armature designed exclusively by our team, connecting perfectly to the osseointegration abutment. ?Since 2016, we have been honored to customize American Girl Dolls for children with limb differences, and their reactions never fail to bring tears to our eyes. ?? Thanks to our collaboration with The Hans & Rosy Epstein Memorial Fund (EMF) and Camp No Limits, we aim to empower and celebrate children with limb differences; including but not limited too below-the-elbow, knee disarticulation, partial hand, congenital conditions, or bilateral above-knee amputations. EMF selected 10 wonderful children, each with a unique story, to receive dolls that inspire confidence and promote inclusivity!???? ?Get to know these amazing kids: ?? ? Olivia (9)enjoys playing games & recently ran a 5k. ? Gray (6) loves reading, drawing, softball, & making people laugh. ? Mackenzie (4) enjoys swimming & dancing. ? Olivia (4) loves gymnastics, princesses, singing & school. ? Lily (4) loves matching with her new American Girl doll. ?
