After-School Opportunity Lab (A-SOL)

In South Dallas, too many young people face an opportunity gap that limits their potential. At A-SOL, we believe every student deserves a chance to thrive. Meet Issac, a 15-year-old who joined our program last year: “It means a lot. Some kids dream of doing this, to do this opportunity. So starting a business brings so much happiness to me. Great news everyone! I was invited to join the board of directors for After-School Opportunity Lab (A-SOL). A-SOL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the opportunity gap for children in low-income communities in South Dallas. A-SOL's mission is close to my heart. They work tirelessly to address disparities in access to quality education, resources, and support systems that can create unequal pathways for future success. By offering impactful programming opportunities at no cost, A-SOL provides a safe haven for students, instilling entrepreneurial and leadership skills within a faith-based environment that promotes teamwork and community building. I am excited to contribute to A-SOL's mission and help make a difference in the lives of these children. Together, we can create brighter futures and build stronger communities.
