Tomorrow, March 14th is Cornell’s Annual Giving Day! Giving Day is a very important day for members of A Seat at the Table (ASATT). ASATT is a business club founded to cultivate leaders that are able to serve their industries with the triple-bottom line in mind: people, profit, and planet. As Cornell’s first and only Business Ethics student organization, we believe that every student should have access to business clubs regardless of socioeconomic status. When joining the club, students are told that their membership has no cost to them. Giving Day gifts allow us to keep this goal in mind for years to come. A Seat at the Table (ASATT) is an undergraduate organization at Cornell University focusing on providing its members the knowledge and skills to understand and succeed in Business Ethics and Human Resources. Students will have the opportunity to partake in hands-on experience, interactive case studies, networking, group lessons and discussion, and other events. ASATT was officially incorporated early 2021 by a group of students that saw the void of pursuing opportunities and topics like this one out of the wide scope of finance-oriented clubs at Cornell.

One of my favorite organizations on campus, A Seat at the Table - Cornell, is recruiting new members for the Spring 2024 semester! We welcome students of all years, majors, and beliefs. ASATT strives to create a place for students to talk about business ethics issues in a safe and welcoming environment. We’re here to teach students everything from vocabulary to discussion skills to PowerPoint tricks (my personal favorite). We have several more recruitment events coming up before our application closes on February 7.
