A Kid Again

We had an incredible time with the Detroit Pistons during our first Adventure of 2025 last week! Our families enjoyed a night dedicated to celebrating each and every one of them. They experienced on-court activities, private seating, Detroit Pistons hats for every child, halftime show tickets, and even on-court seating. To top it off, we were surprised with a Be Impactful check for $5,000! We are grateful to everyone who made it possible, including our photographers for capturing the memories. A Kid Again fosters hope, happiness, and?healing for kids with a life-threatening condition and their?families! Southwest Ohio Chapter Development Manager, Amanda Witt, had the honor of speaking at the University of Cincinnati College of Law’s 2025 Barrister’s Ball. A Kid Again was selected as their charity of choice, and over the last several months their philanthropic team and planning committee helped to raise $9,000 to support our mission! It was so great to have a visit from Nashay Bailey at our recent Central Ohio Chapter Adventure. Nashay helps with all things related to the grant the Chapter receives from Franklin County Public Health. Adventure Weekend and Five Star Parks and Attractions delivered smiles!! ?? Our Northern Ohio Chapter had an amazing turnout at Scene75 Entertainment Center in Brunswick! ?? We were thrilled to have Cleveland Browns Offensive Guard Joel Bitonio join our families to interact and make the day even more special! ?? Our Indiana Chapter families had a blast at Malibu Jack's in Lafayette. Because of the snow, one family's travel took 5 hours!! But mom said, "It was worth it!!" Thank you to the A Kid Again-northern Ohio chapter's Associate Board (Ryan Schmitt, Connor McLaughlin, Trent Thomas, Taylor Erdman CPA, Amanda Dureiko, Sarah Horn, FPQP?, @Jaime Perry, Vanessa Skovich, Alexandra Wolfhope Reyes, and Anne-Marie Colant for hosting the 11th Annual Hoops Helping Kids 3v3 basketball tournament at the CSU Woodling gym on February 1. This group of bright young professionals, along with 90 players raised nearly $22,000 for this local nonprofit serving critically ill kids and their families! Also, a big shout out to our presenting partner F.N.B. Corporation, and our other partners, GPD Group Oswald Companies, and Ken Ganley Mercedes. All the players got to meet Eli and his family and learned why A Kid Again is so important to their family. Afterwards, everyone headed to Saucy Brew Works to celebrate. Congrats to team Poohskis winner of flight A and Big Dawgs winner of flight B.
