    I had the special opportunity to help in the creation of a video about the making of the Oso Slide Memorial, which Snohomish County Parks created with the families and community to honor the 43 lives lost in the biggest landslide in US history on March 22, 2014. It was an honor to be a small part of telling this important story. Thanks to A HUGE Production who really went above and beyond to create this beautiful video, and to Mayor Rankin, Sharon, Chief Harper, Tsovinar and John for sharing their experiences and being interviewed.

Every shot was a delight – from the perfect pour of ponzu sauce to the artful sprinkle of furikake and delicate chili threads. Special thanks to the Just Poké team for giving us creative freedom behind the camera (and treating us to that amazing musubi).     2024 Highlight #6 Little Bipsy's Summit - Retailer Appreciation Party: Highlight Video Welcoming valued retailers from around the country and Canada, the Summit was filled with heartfelt moments, delicious bites (that charcuterie spread was next level!), and focused most importantly on giving back. Little Bipsy is more than a high-quality clothing manufacturer-their partnerships with local nonprofit organizations help create positive change right here in the community. It was obvious to us that LB's values run deep - passion, authenticity, and community are more than just words--they're their foundation.

  • 2024 Highlight #5 Yakima Valley Museum: "The Future of History" Just a short trip over the mountains to a pillar of the Yakima Valley community, we celebrated the area's vibrant cultural tapestry and agricultural roots with our cameras through an historic, yet forward-thinking lens. From precious Indigenous artifacts to vintage farm equipment that tells the story of our apple orchards and hop fields, every exhibit captures a piece of our heritage while inspiring future innovation. The museum's collections are amazing – vibrant vintage neon signs, traditional Native American beadwork, classic cars, and displays chronicling how irrigation transformed the desert into one of America's most productive growing regions. The museum staff's dedication to preserving these fascinating stories really shines through in every shot and celebrates the pioneers who shaped our agricultural heartland, from Japanese farmers and Latino farmworkers to the many other communities whose labor, sacrifice, and expertise transformed this region into what it is today. #YakimaValleyMuseum #PNWHistory #AgHistory #FarmLife #CulturalHeritage #MuseumLife #VideographyLife #aHUGEproduction

  • 2024 Highlight #4 Women in Aerospace: Catalysts for Impact, presented by Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance. While filming, we met inspirational women leading the aerospace industry, overcoming adversity, and achieving great heights...quite literally. We were also inspired by featured speaker Jessica Cox, the world's first licensed armless pilot, as well as the first armless black-belt in the American Taekwondo Association. This was one of a series of videos we produced with PNAA over the year, and all were remarkable projects.

  • 2024 Highlight?#3 At?Camp Korey, a SeriousFun? Camp nestled in Mount Vernon, WA's breathtaking landscape, children with life-altering medical conditions can experience the pure joy of "just being kids" - all at no cost to their families. Over several summers, we've had the privilege of witnessing the magic that unfolds here, building meaningful connections with both staff and campers alike. This past year, we followed Scarlett as she approached her final summer as a camper. Through her eyes, we explored the cherished traditions that have shaped her Camp Korey experience and her aspirations for future leadership roles, both at camp and beyond. During filming, Scarlett shared a deeply moving poem about her time at camp that brought us to tears while filming. Such profound moments reaffirm our mission to tell people's stories with authenticity and artistic vision, capturing the transformative power of places like Camp Korey.

  • We poured our hearts into hundreds of productions throughout 2024, crafting stories that each hold a unique place in our filmmaking journey. Over the next few days, we'll be sharing 10 distinctive pieces that showcase the range of our work and touched us in memorable ways. Let's begin with our first highlight... #1 Snohomish County K9 Foundation, featuring their annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. We zipped around in a golf cart with our cameras, interviewed supporters on the green, and caught some local celebrities in action. Our intentional blend of speed-ramping and synchronized music made this one of our favorite edits of the year and a true ace in our book. Volume up!
