??ANNOUNCEMENT?? A Giving Heart Project has been awarded third year funding for the Unite Charlotte grant for 2025!! We are extremely elated to receive this news! ???? We are able to continue to do what we do for our community because of the opportunities you provide ??. - - - - - - - United Way of Greater Charlotte yesterday announced its 2025 investment of $17.9 million in communities across its four-county footprint – awarding $9 million in grants to 134 organizations working to lift families out of poverty and improve economic mobility. United Way’s Unite Charlotte program will invest over $3 million in 55 agencies – thanks to continued funding by Mecklenburg County and other private foundations. Unite Charlotte provides grants and capacity-building support to grassroots organizations whose leadership is highly reflective of the community they serve. The funding helps support their mission and work, increase their impact and grow a more diverse and inclusive pipeline of nonprofit leaders in Charlotte.

This very simple goal is carried out in various intricate ways designed to meet basic needs for individuals in survival mode, with a end goal of transitioning them from survival mode to sustaining and overcoming. Each project is conducted with the same goals in mind…to serve the most vulnerable in our community and give love.

?? Exciting News! ?? I’m thrilled to announce that A Giving Heart Project has been selected as a finalist for Northeastern University Charlotte’s 4th Annual Heart of Charlotte Awards! ?? We are honored to be recognized for our commitment to positively impacting the health and well-being of our community, particularly through equitable health practices, educational achievement, and fostering social, racial, and health equity. A Giving Heart Project is nominated for Community Partner of the Year! This recognition speaks to our passion for collaboration and our mission to increase our impact by working hand-in-hand with community partners, supporters, and leaders. We believe that through partnership, we can pour even more into our community and better support the marginalized individuals and families we serve. Together, we are creating lasting change! ???? Thank you to Northeastern University Charlotte, Mecklenburg County Public Health, and Tryon Medical Partners for this incredible opportunity. We're excited to spotlight A Giving Heart Project, Inc., one of our FY 2025 Small Grant Program recipients! ?? Their #Project365 #TIPPPs for Health Program is making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable teens in Mecklenburg County. Focused on promoting healthy lifestyle choices, this innovative initiative is tackling risky behavior and chronic disease prevention head-on. Through virtual workshops and a robust social media campaign, teens are empowered with knowledge about substance use, alcohol prevention, mental health, and more. This summer, A Giving Heart Project, Inc., partnered with AmeriHealth Caritas to kick off their first TIPPPs sessions, which were a resounding success! Their commitment to engaging both youth and caregivers is inspiring. Let's continue to cheer them on as they create healthier futures for our teens! ??
