The article paints a rosy picture of purpose-driven leadership, but let’s get real—without accountability, it’s just corporate fluff. Supervisors are the gatekeepers of this lofty mission, yet the piece offers no insight into how we ensure they actually deliver. If we don’t have a system to supervise the supervisors, we might as well be handing out participation trophies for "Best Intentions." These initiatives don’t dismantle systems of exploitation; they just repackage them in feel-good rhetoric. Until someone figures out how to hold them accountable for their role in this grand purpose parade, we’re left with a feel-good initiative that’s all sizzle and no steak—great for morale, but not much else!
