Congrats Corinne Elaina Jeffers A Note from her nominator Corinne started in tech in the 1990s at AOL in a Support role and from there, she’s been a part of the following industries: non-profit, finance, fashion, cybersecurity, and more. She’s led global organizations through massive change and been able to drive multi-million dollars in revenue, cost avoidance, all while ensuring a human touch. She’s often stepped into organizations that were in turmoil, needing massive change. She comes through with fresh eyes to challenge the old ways of doing things. Her team has said: “Corinne cares about every single person on her team. She cares about how they are performing in their role; she cares about them as individuals. She cares if they have enough food on their table. Corinne is honestly unlike anyone I've ever worked with in her role. She is a smart, performance-minded leader and is constantly looking for ways to improve. She is responsive and action-oriented and is always willing to take a meeting, brainstorm ideas, and commit to next steps, but is realistic about setting timelines." #bwflead #bwfutah

Congrats Marilyn Meyer A Note from her nominator Marilyn Meyer has demonstrated exceptional leadership during her tenure as VP of People & Culture at UVU. Over the past 5.5 years, Marilyn's impact on the university's nearly 6,000 employees has been nothing short of remarkable. One of Marilyn's notable achievements is her commitment to championing women in the workplace. Through empathetic listening and dedicated mentorship, she spearheaded UVU's inaugural Working Mother's Conference, a groundbreaking initiative that received overwhelmingly positive feedback. In fact, 100% of attendee survey respondents affirmed the conference's immense value and said that “The Working Mothers Conference helped [them] feel supported by UVU as working parents” and that “[They] feel it would be beneficial to have a similar conference every year.” 98% of respondents agreed that “The Working Mothers Conference provided education on relevant topics and skills” and “The Working Mothers Conference helped me build supportive relationships.” Under Marilyn's guidance, UVU received prestigious accolades, including the AASCU 2023 Excellence and Innovation Award for Leadership Development and Diversity. Additionally, the People and Culture division was honored with the 2023 Western Region HR Excellence Award by CUPA-HR, recognizing Marilyn's dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. Furthermore, Marilyn's advocacy for employee wellness and development has been instrumental in UVU's success. Her leadership played a pivotal role in UVU being recognized as one of the top 100 Utah companies championing women and in the consecutive recognition of UVUFit with the Healthy Worksite Award by the Utah Worksite Wellness Council for eight years running. Beyond her professional achievements, I've seen Marilyn champion all employees and I've seen her comfort crying students, exemplifying her unwavering dedication to all members of the UVU community. She is a fierce advocate for individual growth and utilizes data-driven strategies to provide tailored coaching to fellow executives, empowering them to realize their full potential. #bwfutah #bwflead
