A Bed 4 Me is honored to have Alan Davis serve as Treasurer on our Board of Directors. Alan is a life time resident of the area, a commercial lender with Centennial Bank and has been involved with multiple other organizations. His community and volunteer commitment is strong and long standing. A Bed 4 Me is a 501(c)(3) that provides beds to children and teens, in Okaloosa County, that would otherwise be sleeping on the floor or other inadequate spaces. We understand the critical role of sleep in a child's development, health, academic performance, social adjustments and self-esteem. A Bed 4 Me qualifies each child and provides a bed kit at no cost to the families. The bed kit includes a pillow, bedding, twin mattress and a bed frame that allows for mobility. We provide a bed that is comfortable, durable and will stay with them into adulthood. A Bed 4 Me serves children two to 18 years old from low to middle income families that are without a bed due to economic struggles or families starting over as a result of domestic issues. A Bed 4 Me addresses this essential need as we believe every child deserves a bed. A Bed 4 Me is happy to have Ted Toedte on our Board of Directors. Ted is a Crime Prevention Specialist with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. In addition to his 28 years of law enforcement experience, he has served on nonprofit boards and volunteers at his church. When asked about serving with A Bed 4 Me, Ted said, “Serving as a board member for A Bed 4 Me organization is incredibly rewarding. It brings me immense joy to see the smiles on the faces of children and families we help. I am truly honored to be part of such a vital organization within our community.” Thank you, Ted!
