Yesterday I had the opportunity to fly the Aerocraft Inc. Side Pull System for the Bell 407. It worked great! I was impressed by the ease of installation, the quality of the components and the overall experience. Joe Mueller and his team continue to deliver innovative solutions.

It’s amazing what a team of professionals can accomplish safely when they collaborate. We are grateful to have Erik Vandagriff as our Director of Operations. Erik has a real talent and passion for putting the most complicated jobs together. This was a high risk job that took extensive planning and time to consider all of the risks and mitigate them to an acceptable level. The congested area plan required that approximately 45 houses be evacuated. Thanks to the folks at Hamilton Tree Service, Inc. and Bill Burley and his team at Heli-AX for a job well done. Erik put a lot of trust in Bill’s team. The time and precision put into calculating weights was key to success and safety. Awesome job! After the static wires were pulled in 2 of our pilots, Erik and Angela, and some talented linemen flew in 23 marker balls using the air chair. Lift-It Mfg Wilwood Disc Brakes
On Saturday we flew the Helistringer for the second time. We helped Pacific Gas and Electric Company and PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC pull in 6 new static wires over the Pit 5 power house and substation. It’s been fun to see an idea become a reality. Much thanks to the engineers, machinists, wireless experts and everyone else that helped build the Helistringer.
