We recently held our fifth pack night with the Loudoun Education Foundation where we packed 1,450 student meal bags for their Fueled program. Our members look forward to this pack night every year and they showed up in force representing over a dozen companies to get the job done! These meal bags will be delivered to 30 Loudoun County Public Schools sites where they will be distributed to students struggling with food insecurity. A Truly Rewarding Night! 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter partnered with the Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF) and FUELED for the fifth consecutive year, raising an incredible $37,562 in donations. FUELED provides vital support to 2,000 Loudoun County students and their families each week, delivering meal bags and stocking in-school pantries. A heartfelt thank you to all the companies who generously supported this year’s effort and the hard-working/ kindhearted volunteers (representing a variety of trades and data center companies) who packed 1,400 meals. Kudos to HITT Contracting Inc. for showing up in force with a team of 20 volunteers. A special shoutout to Kelly Burke, the Mayor of Leesburg, for stopping by to highlight the importance of feeding underserved students and the impact that 7x24 has had over the past five years in supporting FUELED's mission.
