关于我们
The 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) was activated on Oct. 1, 2011, as a Major Subordinate Command under the U.S. Army Intelligence & Security Command, while also serving under the operational control of U.S. Army Cyber Command. The Brigade is the only operational offensive cyberspace Brigade in the U.S. Army, where we actively fight alongside our Joint partners to achieve U.S. supremacy in an increasingly contested cyberspace and electromagnetic domain. In Dec. 2010, the Army approved the establishment of a cyberspace operations Brigade, and on Oct. 1, 2011, the 780th MI BDE was organized. Subsequently, the 744th MI Battalion was re-designated as the 781st MI Battalion (Cyber) and re-organized under the new Brigade. The Brigade officially unfurled its colors for the first time during a ceremony at Fort Meade, MD on Dec. 1, 2011. The Brigade began building a second Battalion headquartered at Fort Eisenhower, GA in 2011 culminating with the establishment and designation of the 782nd MI Battalion (Cyber) on June 7, 2013. Detachments Texas and Hawaii were organized as part of the 782nd MI BN in 2013 and 2014 respectively, giving the Brigade a footprint in four states supporting multiple operational headquarters. In July 2017, the Brigade established the Cyber Solutions Development Detachment. In November 2022, the Brigade established Task Force Praetorian to consolidate and support the unit’s key mission enablers. TF-P was officially approved by HQDA in July 2023, and formally recognized as the Operations Support Element on March 1, 2024. On June 6, 2018, the Department of the Army directed ARCYBER to activate the 915th Cyber Warfare Battalion. On Oct. 16, 2022, the 915th CWB was officially re-designated as the 11th Cyber Battalion. The 11th CB is the first scalable organic expeditionary capability to meet the Army’s current and projected tactical cyberspace requirements. Army building a new expeditionary cyber battalion November 26, 2024, DefenseScoop https://lnkd.in/eh8yhC3p In late February, the Army Force Structure Transformation (ARSTRUC) plan directed the activation of two more so-called expeditionary cyber and electromagnetic activities teams (ETCs) in the 11th Cyber Battalion — a total of 90 authorizations — rounding out that battalion and an additional 390 authorizations for ECTs to begin building the 12th Cyber Battalion, Lt. Gen. Maria Barrett, commander of Army Cyber Command, said in an interview with DefenseScoop.? “We’re doubling down on what the expeditionary [Cyberspace and Electromagnetic Activities] teams have been doing to date. I think that is a good sign,” Barrett said. The battalion provides tactical, on-the-ground cyber operations (mostly through radio-frequency effects), electronic warfare and information operations. The unit consists of four companies with over 300 personnel total and five ECTs — scalable formations designed to augment units upon request.

Turkey Bowl 2024 FORT EISENHOWER, Ga. –Thanksgiving is Thursday and the beginning of the 2024 Holiday Season. A time for Family, friends, food and football, and today was the Eisenhower Turkey Bowl! The Cyber Legion Soldiers of the 782nd Military Intelligence Battalion versus the Leviathans of the 11th Cyber Battalion (there was even Frisbee Football). The 782d’s Battalion Commander got into the spirit by donning his gigantic hat, shield, and cape with the new Cyber Legion logo... Alas, unfortunately, I don’t know who the victors were.

US Cyber Force Surges Global Operations Amid Rising Threats November 22, 2024, Bank Info Security https://lnkd.in/eu3beTvr The Cyber National Mission Force has been deployed more than 85 times over the last year and carried out missions spanning across at least 80 networks, said Morgan Adamski, executive director of the U.S. Cyber Command. Adamski said the force has significantly evolved since its 2014 launch to combat hacking and protect domestic critical infrastructure, a mission that is increasingly urgent as attacks on Department of Defense networks escalated in the years that followed. Adamski said Cyber Command and federal cyber authorities have "executed globally synchronized activities" throughout the year that are "laser-focused on degrading and disrupting PRC cyber operations worldwide."

Hackathon IV – A cyber and computer challenge event for young people Full story: https://lnkd.in/gFigyWnh ODENTON, Md. – Soldiers and Civilians from the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber), Praetorians, hosted the Hackathon IV event in partnership with the Anne Arundel County Public Library to encourage teen interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) at the Odenton Regional Library, November 19. Although a relatively small event – the library caps registration at 25 – the Praetorian volunteers have never turned away a walk-in, and the young people benefit from a more personalized training and educational event since there are always more than 10 volunteers. “Running the 2024 Hackathon outreach event has been extremely satisfying work,” said 2nd Lt. Nathan Vowinkel, a 17A cyberspace operations officer and lead planner for Hackathon IV. “I have loved the opportunity to interact with the local Fort Meade community -- from the helpful Anne Arundel County Public Library staff to the eager participating students at our events. Getting kids interested in cyber topics is a critical mission for today’s Army, by ensuring our country is provided with a talented and motivated STEM workforce able to defend our country well into the 21st century.” US Army U.S. Army Cyber Command U.S. Cyber Command #ArmyPossibilities #BeAllYouCanBe
