On Tuesday, the Diamond Brigade hosted Command Sgt. Maj. Conaty, the Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Sergeant Major, for an update on capabilities and support provided by CECOM. Conaty engaged with leaders across the brigade during a Q and A session, and later joined IT communications Soldiers from across the brigade for lunch at Guns and Rockets, where he also answered questions about the future of our communication platforms. Huge thanks to Command Sgt. Maj. Conaty for taking the time to meet with our key leaders and Soldiers and explain how CECOM and the Diamond Brigade can work together to accomplish our communications mission! #ToughAsDiamonds

Last Thursday, the Diamond Brigade was honored to host Corie Weathers to speak on Leading the Next Generation, based on her book "Military Culture Shift". Mrs. Weathers spoke on extensive research regarding how different generational differences affect how members of different generations communicate with each other, and how military leaders can effectively create cohesive units by bridging the generational gaps. Last week, our very own 1-14FAR spouse Kelsey Forrest was recognized during SILL Facts at the Patriot Club on Nov. 5. Kelsey was recognized for her selfless efforts in organizing pop-up shop dress exchanges at the Lawton Lending Closet and the Old Cavalry Post Community Center to help 300 Diamond Brigade Spouses find affordable and fashionable dresses for the upcoming Brigae St. Barbara's Ball.
