August was an amazing month for our family. 63Foxtrot had its best month by far, my daughter turned 10, my son turned 14..oh and we bought a garage in Olympia,WA.Garys Olympia Auto Services. My wife has been a rock through all of this, pushing me towards success and reminding me of who God designed me to be. Others have been instrumental in our success as well. Alexis Volz, Malachi Flesher our techs Andy, Carlos, Kevin have all made great contributions to our success. Here’s to many more months/years, this is just the beginning. Happy Labor Day weekend to everyone, enjoy time with your family especially if you’re blessed enough to work with them.

What a week! Traveled to PHX in the hunt for a service truck for our newest account. So blessed to have Tyshon Harris on board and got to send a few days working side by side with him in the 110+ heat outfitting this beauty. Foxtrot 1 - ready for duty. Is it bad that I immediately began dreaming of the next truck? Upgrading, more equipment to service our clients?

As we all prepare to spend tomorrow celebrating our country’s freedom tomorrow, please remember all the drivers out there who will not be home as they deliver goods to every part of our great Union. Don’t let the only reason they don’t get to be home be due to a preventable breakdown! Imagine having your load home only to breakdown and miss it! Get those trailers inspected and repaired before they get on the road!

Building a business is full of peaks and valleys. One of the things that I’ve always loved about trucking is instant gratification. Book a load/ cover a load/service a load=winning! Building a business is like asking/ask/ask/ask/wait/wait/ask again=win a few. In it for the long haul and learning at a sprint everyday!
