Future Ready Five receives $250,000 to enhance kindergarten readiness in Franklin County, aiming for 100% readiness by 2030. ?? Exciting News for Columbus! Rev1 Ventures, in collaboration with the City of Columbus and The Ohio State University, has announced an ambitious phased plan to support software startups and scaleups. This initiative will drive innovation, attract talent, and fuel growth in our region! Phase 1: "Software Alley" Located in The Peninsula Office Building, Software Alley will be the first dedicated space for software scaleups in Downtown Columbus. Supported by a 10-year financial commitment from the City of Columbus, this project aligns with the Downtown Columbus Strategic Plan's goal of reaching 120,000 workers downtown by 2040. Phase 2: Modern Wet Labs The second phase will see the development of additional state-of-the-art wet lab spaces in OSU’s Carmenton district, ensuring cutting-edge facilities for innovation. In the meantime, Rev1 will continue managing the Innovation Center on Kinnear Rd (Rev1 Labs). This is a monumental step forward for startups, innovation, and growth in Columbus.
