When frontline vaccinators in C?te d’Ivoire and Mali were paid within 24 hours of their campaign work, it wasn’t just about speed—it was about trust, efficiency, and better outcomes for communities. This transformation was possible thanks to digital public infrastructure (DPI), like mobile payments and digital attendance systems. Our data helped highlight how these innovations are improving health worker experiences, campaign outcomes, and access to care. Bill Gates recently explored this in his powerful blog about the impact of DPI worldwide. From health worker payments to emergency aid and financial inclusion, DPI is shaping a more efficient and equitable future.
