NEXT LEVEL: A strategic milestone in the #HUSAT program ?? 4iG Space and Defence Technologies and CPI VERTEX ANTENNENTECHNIK GmbH have signed an agreement for the installation of ground antenna system for the communication of the satellites of the HUSAT program. The agreement is a key milestone, as it is the first major supplier contract on the road to the implementation of HUSAT satellite ecosystem. ? The contract was signed by István Sárhegyi, CEO of 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Plc. and Peter Fasel, Managing Director of CPI Vertex Antennentechnik GmbH, and focuses on ?? Joint program management and logistics ?? On-site installation and testing according to satellite industry standards ?? Another step in the implementation of 4iG Nyrt.'s satellite strategy ??? One of the main pillars of the HUSAT satellite programme is the operation of two ground stations to support satellite operations and data processing. The technological investment under the contract will involve the installation of central antenna systems - a total of 8 parabolic antennas with a diameter of 9-11.5 meters and associated radio frequency equipment. ? 1?? In the first phase, the three 11.5 meters full-motion tilt antennas from Vertex Antennentechnik’s (VA) Plug&Play series will be installed for the HULEO satellites in low earth orbit, enabling very fast satellite tracking and efficient communication with the satellites. 2?? In the second phase, the high-precision TT&C control antennas and the multi-frequency Gateway central antennas will be installed for the geostationary orbiting (HUGEO) communication satellite. VA supplies antennas from the Plug&Play series and standard antennas from CPI for this purpose. ? It will empower 4iG Space and Defence Technologies and its subsidiary HDT - Hungaro DigiTel to operate their satellite system – including satellite communications, data download, satellite control and monitoring – from the two locations in Hungary. ? ???? HUSAT is the largest business driven and privately funded satellite program in Hungary as well as in Central and Eastern Europe. According to the program of 4iG, 1 geostationary and 8 low earth orbit satellites to be deployed by 4iG Space and Defence Technologies in the coming years. ???? CPI VERTEX ANTENNENTECHNIK GmbH has been manufacturing antenna systems since 1963 and is a world leader in the supply of ground satellite stations, precision antenna systems, and radio telescopes. #wedoit

Following our December meeting at Mar-a-Lago with Elon Musk and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, we continued discussions with SpaceX on potential collaborations and partnership opportunities in space technologies, launch services, and Starlink solutions. It was a privilege to meet Tim Hughes, Senior Vice President for Global Business and Government Affairs at SpaceX, alongside Ambassador Szabolcs Takács and the 4iG Space and Defence Technologies team in Washington, D.C.
