It was an incredible two days at Geneva College hosting three Special Olympics Pennsylvania Bocce Regional Championships, giving teams the opportunity to compete and earn a spot at the State Games in Hershey! A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Clearview Federal Credit Union, for making this championship experience possible for more teams than ever before! We’re also incredibly grateful for the coaches, volunteers, officials, and families who give their time to support these events. Bocce is part of Special Olympics Unified Sports, where athletes with and without intellectual disabilities train and compete together on the same team. It’s about more than just sports—it’s about breaking down barriers. Congratulations to the teams advancing to Hershey—we can’t wait to cheer you on at the State Games!
